In collaboration with our friends at the Vaping Industry Trade Association of Canada (VITA), the American Vaping Association is proud to release a guide for U.S. vape shops on safely opening stores to the general public during COVID-19.
The best practices guide and summary sheets for staff and consumers were created by VITA in collaboration with Dr. Mark Tyndall, a public health and harm reduction researcher, as well as retailers and industry experts. VITA was kind enough to modify their materials for American audiences and share it with AVA.
With many adult smokers and even vapers still believing misinformation about vaping products, it is now more important than ever that consumers understand that their local vape shop cares about their health and well-being. We wish the best of luck to all vape shop owners in operating their businesses and keeping employees working during a time of such great uncertainty.
